Scout Parents, Incorporated (SPI) supports associated Scouting America and Girl Scout units in the Palos Verdes Peninsula and nearby areas by holding major annual scouting events and by direct sponsorship of Scouting America units. SPI also provides an annual college scholarship. Its major annual events are:
Field Day -- scouts compete in approximately 22 traditional scout skills
Pancake Breakfast -- a fund-raiser in which scouts sell tickets, cook, and serve a full breakfast to the public
Scout Parents Inc also maintains ownership and storage of materials useful to its member units and for major events.
